“Twenty years from now you will be more disappointed by the things that you didn’t do than by the ones you did do. So throw off the bowlines. Sail away from the safe harbor. Catch the trade winds in your sails. Explore. Dream. Discover.” —Mark Twain

Wow! So true. As we enter 2014 in just a few short hours, this is some great advice that has obviously transcended generations. Mark Twain said it perfectly. If we are not making mistakes, taking chances and dreaming then we are not really living. I look forward to all the possibilities that 2014 holds as we step through the threshold … 365 new days to write our next chapter anew. New relationships, new opportunities, new challenges and new truimphs that are only possible when you are willing to do what others may not be willing to do and that is possibly fail, be disappointed and step away from that safe harbor. When things are uncomfortable is exactly when things happen, sometimes awesome exciting things, sometimes failure but from every failure comes learning and as long as you are learning and moving forward you will achieve your goals. Never lose site of the goal and keep learning from bumps in the road and you will obtain the prize.

At Premier, we are looking forward to a fantastic 2014 in the steel building industry and wishing all our customers, vendors and peers a very Happy, Safe and Prosperous New Year.
