If you live in the Southeast … school is out for some and will be shortly for the rest, the Northeast and remainder of the Country will follow in the next month with finishing up their 2011-2012 school year. Now that graduations are happening, the weather is steadily warming up and kids are getting restless, what are you going to do to entertain your kids while school is out? I know some are booking every wonderful camp they can find, and afford, as fast as they can. Others are planning multiple vacations out of town to keep the young ones occupied while still others are planning staycations and taking advantage of all the wonderful activities in their home States. Here in Georgia a terrific staycation would include awesome excursions like visiting Stone Mountain, Six Flags over Georgia, Six Flags Whitewater, a trip to the beaches of Tybee Island or a trip throught the Okfenefokee Swamp, to the awesome North Georgia Mountains to visit the many attractions that surround Lake Lanier or any one of the numerous other terrific Georgia Lakes. In addition to all of these attractions, Georgia like most other states has so many exciting historic cities to visit and explore along with hidden jewels like Callaway Gardens, Noth Georgia Canopy Tours, along with hundreds of terrific State Parks that offer hiking, fishing, lakes, waterfalls and so much more. What to do this Summer? The options are endless and so many are right in our own backyards.
